I am interested in cellular quiescence, dormancy, aging, and regeneration. I obtained my PhD in Cell biology from Peking University. In Prof. Chao Tang’s Lab, I studied cellular quiescence in the fission yeast. Then, I continued my fission yeast study as a postdoc in the same lab focusing on the aging behavior and regeneration capacity of quiescent cells. Here, my research focuses on the aging and regeneration of dormant spores in the budding yeast. Outside the lab, I like hiking, gardening, and working out. |
