Michela is an MD-PhD student from Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in English. She became interested in studying aging, proteomics, and biomedical science after her undergraduate research on ER quality control proteins and after conducting research on tardigrade proteins during her gap year. She has always been fascinated by "time" and "life/death" as motifs in biology and literature and hopes to explore these more! In her free time, Michela likes to read, try tasty foods, and grow plants on her windowsill. |
